This is Las Vegas from the skyline, and you can see the lights right before it gets dark.
Las Vegas Lights (2019)
Being born in the desert I’ve learned a lot living in Las Vegas. Its home to me, so I don’t really like going around taking pictures of Las Vegas, because I see it every day. I do know however, people love this city and they come here as tourist, so I figured I go to one of my hidden spots and shoot where no one else can get the shot I can, most locals don’t know where I get my shots which lies to my advantage as a fine art photographer.
This was a shot I was happy with; I was on a hill and I was actually waiting for my friend at the time to just hangout with me. I wait patiently because I knew the sun would eventually go down and the light would hit the horizon exposing the city light around the Vegas Valley.
Besides the partying and booze, oh and the gambling, it does have some great lights. I’m never around any of that stuff anyway, it’s never been my crowd, I prefer to work on my craft and focus on other parts of the areas that are more Landscapes. But I had to give my home city a shoutout on my gallery, since its home to me.
This peace expresses Las Vegas in a residential local standpoint. This is how most locals see Las Vegas, as a local who was born here, most of us stay on the out skirts of Sin City.
