My Trip with Precipice Of Grind ( Dave Rock )
Nevada The Vast Desert Road:
I think cows are cute. They are just walking around like dumb animals, starring at my camera. I kept walking towards them thinking they would let me pet one of them. The closer I got the farther they got.
I pictured myself what would have been like a couple hundreds years ago if I was a settler. Big brown mustache ( I grow a red beard when I grow it out).
Hanging out there, wrapping up some tobacco, and alone knowing someone or something might try to kill me. Dave (My desert tour guide) Yells, " Lorenzo! Cows! You want a picture?" It was like I went from past to present, form wearing a cowboy attire back to my blue jacket when he yelled at me.
I said, " DINNER! BEEF PATTIES WALKING. I want a cheeseburger!". I imagined myself clacking my boots made from cheap synthetic material, leather I bought at Big 5 Sporting goods. I yelled at the cows, " *This desert town and big enough for the both us, SPIT* , REACH FOR THE STARS". I then pointed my camera like a gun and pressed the shutter. I would have probably made a terrible cowboy actor and glad no one was around to watch me act.
Dave my tour guide, just laughed, or maybe he thought I was a little weird talking to myself. But I guess when you’re in the middle of nowhere, who cares right?
I didn't know cows could run so fast. Pointed my camera thinking a cow or two would be a great shot. Nope. Blurry. Those Beef patties bastards kept moving, so it would blur my shot. Meanwhile my guide is laughing thinking I'm some child playing captain save a cow and talking to myself as Im lifting my legs as if wearing large cowboy leather pants. Mom would be proud.
I couldn’t get my shot. So I figured, “ F It”.
Then I turned around, and I saw the vast desert and couldn't believe the beauty of the Nevada land, grabbed my Tripod rushed over to the spot, and attached the camera.
